I know I've been a terrible blogger lately, but I've been busy and school is just a little overwhelming! Anyway, next week is spring break and I'll be getting things in order (cleaning my room, catching up on schoolwork, and hopefully blogging).
I haven't posted in a while, but recently I've started to take part in a new blog, along with some people from a website I go on. I've only written one piece so far, but if you'd like to see, here it is...click!

I haven't gone on hiatus, I've just been lazy. I'd like to apologize, no excuses! Anyway, I've had a lot of different thoughts about the blog. I've considered starting fresh, with something new. And I've also considered making the blog a summer thing when I'd have more time to update. Or maybe make it into a weekly thing. I don't really know what to do, but I definitely don't want to give it up.

I got these shoes for Christmas, the coloring isn't that accurate (they're more gold looking), but they are so gorgeous in person. They add the perfect amount of oomph to an outfit.

Today I finalized my choices for my classes for next year. Choosing classes always sparks my imagination and thoughts about next year, as well as what the classes could lead me to. My schedule planning sheet (they call it an ECP, but basically it has a bunch of blocks for you to write in what classes you want) always has a lot of eraser marks because I am not the best with decision making, but eventually these are the classes I decided on. (Hopefully I'll get the ones I wanted, I'm thinking I won't get one of the electives.)
AP World History Biology Algebra 2/Data Analysis British Literature Financial Literacy Housing and Home Furnishing
Normally I would need 3 more classes (3 credits anyway), but when you're a junior the school offers this program I decided to take part in that counts for three credits. I explained the program a little a few posts back if you're curious.
Anyway, the future doesn't really freak me out. Sometimes there are things I worry about, but usually I love to consider the possibilities. I love to plan how I can imagine things going and all of that.
Besides getting my classes today I also got my report card and I was pretty excited that a class I was expecting a B in I received an A. It was kind of shocking because what bumped me up was the midterm grade, which I was pretty sure I had bombed. It's always exciting when something like that happens. So, all in all my day turned out pretty well even though I was expecting it to be a snow day today (thanks a lot weather.com). But even lacking sleep it was pretty good.
Especially since me and my mom discussed plans for the weekend and I've been dying to go to the mall lately, so we are going to go and we're also going to see He's Just Not That Into You. I haven't been to the mall in a while, and I've been craving a smoothie from the smoothie stand there. The smoothies are seriously one of the best things I've ever tasted. Ever. But I'm also craving a trip to the MAC store.
Wrapping up...I have my homework done for once (I'm a terrible procrastinator), so I think I'm going to spend the rest of my night relaxing and trying to paint my nails. Right now they're a very pretty blue-grey that is called Gunmetal, but I'm thinking maybe I'll go with a simple nude color for this week. Maybe I'll even go to sleep early tonight.
PS, doesn't Dakota Fanning look great? I've always been a big fan of hers, especially of the movie Uptown Girls but her style recently has been very cute.
It finally started to snow here, it has been terribly cold for the longest time, but we've just been waiting and waiting for snow. I was so relieved to not have school today, and noone is expecting to have it tomorrow either. Yay!
Sadly, I wasn't as productive as I hoped to be. Before the night is over I'm determined to: clean my room, try making a delicious smoothie (my new hobby), reorganize my makeup, and read my book for my literature class (The Red Badge Of Courage, I'd have to say I don't care for it one bit).
Oh, and I've been meaning to post that I found the camera I've been looking for, so hopefully I'll be able to start with more outfit posts and other neat things.
